Round 3

Home from another conference just in time for round 3 of the daycare puke fest.  Selah June felt horrible last night and really struggled to settle into sleep.  We thought she was just fussy because she’s cutting molars, but then she woke up in the middle of the night with a coughing fit that ended in vomit. Jeremy stripped the bed and let her sleep with him.

Unfortunately for everybody, Satie was also up in the middle of the night puking.  We had to spread the love to Grammy and Grandpa’s house (again) because we’re so stretched to our max.  Jeremy’s still not walking or driving.

Selah June played and played and played at Grammy’s house, resisting a nap as long as she could.  Finally, they both laid down, but she was soon coughing and puking again. Poor Grammy.

Meanwhile, Jeremy was asked for a tv interview and radio interview because of his role as a Florida elector. When your invalid husband has to Uber home from the radio station, you know there just aren’t enough hands to go around.

In this picture, SJ is patiently building a tower with magnetic blocks.  She wanted each side to be the “right” color.  Mom said she capped it off with two leaning pieces on top that were perfectly perched against each other.  That’s my little architect/engineer!
