These are weeks late, but I’ve hit up against the end of the spring semester.  Things have gotten a little crazy.  I did my best to get some good pics of Selah June in her first Easter dress, but the lighting was a little harsh.  Oh well.  I think she’s beautiful no matter the lighting…

This was the only dress for which I registered.  Ann Royappa bought it for her in size 6 mo.  It was perfect for Easter, and we might even get a few more wears out of it by summer’s end.

Selah June had her wellness check a few weeks ago, and it was full of ups and downs.  The wait was pretty long, and Daddy did everything he could do to keep her entertained…       

We started with our vitals.  That was easy enough.  How can Mommy see a cute little foot like that and not take a picture of it?

Then we spent a lot of time entertaining ourselves by looking in the mirror.

We hung upside down like a monkey.

We looked at the phone wondering why Mommy was taking so many pictures.

And then the came in and said we were perfect…. short, but perfect.

We ended on a particularly foul note.  SHOTS!!!

How in the world did I let nearly two weeks go by without posting?  Ugggghhhh

It’s been a crazy couple of weeks, and Selah June has been growing like a weed so fast that we can barely keep up.  I’m not going to beat myself up over my delinquency.  Rather, I’m just going to post some very cute pics from the last two weeks and then try to keep up a little better moving forward.

When we have evening tummy time, we like to have all of our toys right under us.  Everything goes in the mouth…. even the carpet.

Here we are sitting up.  That’s totally a new thing as of this week!

We’re still working on it though.  Sometimes we face plant.

Tummy time is tough work.  Sometimes you just have to take a break.  And sometimes it’s just time for bed.

We love to go out on the town on Saturdays.  Today we went to Dillards to try to find a nice hair bow for our Easter Sunday outfit.  We also stopped by and saw Satie and Sebastian.  And we got a sippy cup from TJ Maxx to test out.  We’ll see how that goes.  No promises.

This week we discovered that our feet touch the ground in our exersaucers!  We can go forwards and backwards and all around!  It’s awesome.

That’s one more activity to add to the long list of things Selah June loves to do with her days.  We love to jump in our Johnny Jump Up.  We love to stomp around in our musical exersaucer.  And we love to drive all around in our “cars.”  Tummy time is growing on us.  Our octopus is fun.  Books are good to chew on.  Eating pears and peaches and cereal and bananas and bottles is awfully good stuff too.

And don’t forget playing with daddy.  Anything he does is fun.

Today is SJ’s half birthday…. AND SHE’S STILL ALIVE!!!  That’s amazing.  We are rolling over and have two teeth coming in.  We are jumping and grabbing and singing and laughing.  There’s so many things we like to do!  We eat peaches and pears like a trooper.  And we’re sleeping like a rockstar.
